Julia Kapteyn, Vice President
<An accomplished pianist with a discerning ear for a piano's touch and tone, Alex's wife Julia plays an important role in the final tone inspections here at the piano shop.
She is also an active consultant concerning many business decisions.

Savanah Wood, Secretary and Piano Teacher
<Along with performing all of the secretarial duties at Central Michigan Pianos, Alex's daughter Savanah
designs the mail advertisements and updates the web page. She also keeps quite
busy in the workroom replacing damper felts and hand lettering the piano plates.
Savanah also teaches piano lessons in the studio here at the piano shop.

Timothy Kuipers, Technician
<Alex's nephew Tim began apprenticing at Central Michigan Pianos nearly two years ago, and has shown great proclivity for tuning and regulating pianos.
He has all the qualities of a sucessful technician, and pays special attentiveness in all aspects of the regulating process.

Samuel Kapteyn, Manufacturing and Development Foreman
<Alex's oldest son Samuel is involved with the soundboard and pinblock manufacturing and design at Central Michigan Pianos. He is also in charge of the stringing and overall quality control.
Samuel and his wife Emily reside in Carson City with their two wonderful little boys.

Aaron Newhall, Soundboard and Bridge Technician
<Aaron Newhall has been involved in the piano business for over 20 years, and lends his valuable craftsmanship to all aspects of the bellywork performed at Central Michigan Pianos.
Aaron and his wife of 17 years, Michelle, have three children, and reside in Carson City, Mi.
